LOreal Fashion Week 2008 is purple, regal and beautiful. The first show I went this year is the CARLIE WONG Spring 2009 collection. My personal favourite is the white pants and the black ruffle backless top. WOW..... :) Going back for more tomorrow!

A few months ago, I was randomly surfing for japanese fashion and korean trends and i discovered the CIRCLE LENS. Asian celebs have been wearing them for ages... and being in Canada, makeup tips for Angelina and Jessica Alba doesnt really apply to me!They are a few brands and even horror stories circulating like girls going blind from wearing the wrong ones. My goodness - so controversial, i had to get in on that! After some research, i tracked down FreshKon's Alluring Eyes. They are sold in more than 65 countries worldwide, FreshKon is the number one selling cosmetic lens in Asia. They are wicked cool :) yay! or should i put 8) instead.


Basically they are black contact lens that give you the appearance of enlarged pupils. supercute if you ask me! Since i wear contact lenses everyday anyway i decided to get me a pair. PS: I purchased the acuvue Define (same thing) from a UKcontact lens site, that charged me $70 and sent me nothing and never replied to my emails, SCAM.
So if you want to get them, ask your local optical shop - i got mine from Dragon Centre in Chinatown.

Earlier this summer, the buzz about mini notebooks were swirling about in the blogsphere and cyber rumours almost killed a cat. :) yes i was curious about these little machines that let you Facebook, blog and upload pics. YAY. So when my acer aspire 5570 decided the webcam should no longer work, we had a problem. Then dramatically and aquatically, my laptop commited suicide on my bed with a bottle of unclosed water. BOO HOO.

This is where I found myself wandering into BestBuy and picking up the mini notebook affectionately known as acer aspire ONE. Me likey. What's better, it comes in pink, white, blue, brown. The site says seashell white, sapphire blue, coral pink, golden brown. Perfect for notetaking, emergency blogging and Facebooking! GUESS what, i bought the last one, in blue. It was $400 and change and only 9 inches. YAY. So this is me, portable, mobile, connected+ so chic! There were other netbooks available from HP (almost twice the price), same function. You think I should trade it for the pink one? The blue one is so fitting for fall :)

Blackberry, DigiCam, Flip Ultra, acerOne. I'm good to go. No complaints yet! I think its because it really suits my small hands. As you can see its not much bigger than a DVD. I love it! Mobility is number one for me, travelling, sound quality is good, no CD drive only USB, good battery life (6 hrs?) and kinda cute!
